When I first started Almas Healthy Cooking, I didn’t imagine it would grow into a community of people who share the same simple belief: that healthy food doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs to be real.
For years, I’ve cooked with what I could grow, forage, or source locally here in beautiful Albania. My kitchen has always been my quiet place — where the scent of rosemary, the sound of olive oil sizzling in a pan, and the taste of ripe tomatoes from the garden remind me of what matters most: living honestly, eating naturally, and taking care of ourselves without shortcuts.
That’s the foundation of everything I do here.
Every recipe, every idea, every story I share is rooted in 100% organic, pesticide-free ingredients — because I believe health starts with purity. No sprays. No chemicals. No fake additives. Just food the way nature intended.

Why I Started Almas Healthy Cooking
For me, food was never about calories or control — it was about connection.
Growing up in the Mediterranean, every meal was an event. We gathered around a wooden table, passing dishes made with love and intention. Nothing fancy — just simple, seasonal food prepared slowly, shared generously, and enjoyed fully.
But when I moved away and started living in busier cities, I noticed how disconnected people had become from their food. Meals came from boxes, sauces from jars, and vegetables had lost their flavour. I wanted to bring back that lost sense of care and authenticity.
That’s why I started Alma’s Healthy Cooking — not just to share recipes, but to help people rediscover the joy of cooking fresh, organic meals that fuel the body and soothe the mind. I wanted to create a space that feels like sitting down at a friend’s kitchen table, where everything is real and nothing is rushed.

My Cooking Philosophy
I believe that food should serve your health, not harm it. That’s why every ingredient I use is organic and free from pesticides or artificial preservatives. The olive oil is cold-pressed. The herbs are dried naturally in the sun. The fruits and vegetables come from trusted local sources or my own garden.
When I can’t grow something myself, I source it from small farmers who share the same values — people who care about the soil, the bees, and the water we all depend on.
You’ll never find refined sugar, artificial colouring, or chemical additives in my recipes. Instead, you’ll find honey, herbs, citrus, nuts, seeds, and good natural fats that your body can actually use for nourishment.
My goal isn’t to turn cooking into a performance — it’s to bring back honesty and intention to the table. I want you to feel that the food you cook at home can heal, restore, and energize you.
